The details we hold

From the quote form: whatever you type in, which is usually your name, a phone number, an email address, where the job is, what needs doing, and any photo you attach. From a phone call: the number you rang from, when you rang, and a recording of the call or the voicemail. The site also logs ordinary technical data such as which pages loaded.

Why we hold it

Chiefly to hand your job to the independent glazing business covering this area so they can ring you and price it. Beyond that: running the site, keeping a record of enquiries, and sorting out anything that goes wrong.

Where it goes

To the glazing business handling your job, recording included. Our suppliers also touch it in passing: the companies that host the site, send our email and carry our phone calls. Some of them hold data overseas, the United States included. Nobody buys your details from us and we do not market unrelated things at you.

How it is kept

In systems that need a login, reachable by us and by the glazier on your job. We hold records for as long as the reasons above need, and as long as the law requires, then no longer.

Seeing it, fixing it, removing it

Write to leads@crew.do. You can ask to see what is on file, have a wrong detail put right, or have the lot deleted.

Tell us first and we will look into it. Still unhappy, and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner will hear it: oaic.gov.au.
